Apple tart with strawberry syrup

This is a wonderful recipe and very easy to make. Instead of sugar I used strawberry sirup, the liquid left over when making jam. See the recipe here. If you do not have any at hand, just replace it with the same amount of sugar (or half if you use brown sugar).

For five apples:
1- Prepare a baking dish lining it with butter and flour.
2- In a large bowl mix: three eggs,  10 cl of cold milk, 80 gr of strawberry syrup (or sugar), 100 gr of sifted flour and a dash of salt.
3- Mix well and add 20 gr of melted and cooled butter.
4- Peal and cut the apples in thin slices and place in the egg mixture. When the slices are well coated just put everything in the baking pan.
5- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 180º c. Sprinkle some brown sugar and serve at room temperature.
