Apple cake a little bit like a crumble with a French twist.
1- In a large bowl mix: 200 gr of flour with 100 gr of whole wheat flour, one tablespoon of baking powder and 100 gr of brown sugar.
2- Add three eggs, the juice of a lemon and 90 gr of butter melted. The consistency will be a little crumbly.
3- Add four apples cut in medium squares and place in a prepared baking dish. Flatten the dough with a spatula and sprinkle with a little bit of brown sugar.
4- Bake for 45 min in a 180º C. oven.
Let it cool well before serving. It is wonderful with vanilla ice-cream or with red fruits such as raspberries.
