A really easy and fast way to prepare ground beef for pasta.
For 500 gr of high quality ground beef
1- In a wide pan, place a few drops of olive oil and some crushed garlic. Cook for a few minutes until the garlic releases its flavour.
2- Add the ground beef and a variety of Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme, etc.). Mix well until the meat and the herbs are mixed.
3- Add about 500 gr of cherry tomatoes cut in half. Mix again and cover. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes mixing it from time to time to make sure the beef is thoroughly cooked.
Serve with pasta of choice topped with parmigiano cheese and fresh basil.
