Apple and cardamom cake

I baked this bright and happy cake for a teachers-parents meeting. The cardamom gives a wonderful aroma and flavour.

1- In a large bowl mix: two cups of sifted flour, one tablespoon of baking powder, half a cup of brown sugar, the seeds of seven cardamom pods, 200 ml of crème fraîche and three eggs. If you feel the mix is too heavy, you can add a little bit of milk.
2- When it is well mixed, add two large apples (I used golden apples) cut in very small cites.
3- Place in a prepared baking pan and sprinkle with milk so that it gets a golden color.
4- Bake for 45 minutes in a 160º C. oven. Let it cool before serving.
