1- In a large bowl, mix well: two cups of sifted flour, two teaspoons of baking powder, half a cup of brown sugar, 200 ml of crème fraîche and three eggs.
2- Divide the cake batter in two.
3- In a small bowl whisk vigorously half a cup of cold milk with three tablespoons of high quality 100% cacao powder.
4- Mix the cacao liquid with half of the cake batter.
5- Pour the cake batter in a prepared baking dish intermittently – the plain batter then the chocolate one, then the plain, etc. a little bit at a time.
6- Bake for 45 minutes in a 175 degree C. oven. Let it cool before serving.
