Pommes de terre en rondelles

If you get tired of fries, try these! They are crunchy and can also be served as an amuse-gueule with a dip of avocado or more simply, some mustard.


1- Wash small potatoes thoroughly. Do not peel them. Dry them in a clothe.
2- Slice, discarding the ends.
3- Fry in olive oil mixing it often. Add a few cloves of garlic some five minutes before the potatoes are done – it gives a nice flavour.

Serve immediately sprinkled with coarse salt and fresh herbs. Here I used fresh basil.
