Little banana split

I made this little desert today for lunch. No special occasion, just because… And sometimes things made “just because” are simply delicious!


1- Split a “plátano dominicano” – that’s the very little and sweet bananas.
2- Place five small scoops of ice-cream, alternating flavours with a large one in the middle. I used strawberry, chocolate and vanilla (the larger scoop).
3- Top with warm “dulce de leche” (or cajeta). It can also be topped with warm chocolate sauce.

– For the chocolate sauce: melt high quality chocolate in bain-marie with a little bit of butter and serve immediately.
