Here an easy recipe to make this peculiar little fish taste wonderful. And it is said, they are good for memory!
1- In a bowl, place the sardines with some crushed garlic, grated fresh ginger root and lemon juice. Let it stand for an hour covered.
2- Add sliced cherry tomatoes and cubes of mango (peaches works well too if you don’t have mango in your area).
3- Sprinkle with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately with fresh baguette.
